CVS Trip 2-18-09

Tonight I made a trip to CVS real quick to pick up a few things. The lady behind me said, "OMG you hit a jackpot!!" I left and was on the way home and realized something wasn't right.

Here is how the trip went:

2 Suave Shampoo and Conditioner @ $2.00 ea - used 1 $2/3 MQ and 1 $1/1 MQ (OOP $1)
1 Suave Bodywash @ $1.99 (yes it was supposed to be $2 and it rang up $1.99) - used $1/1 Printable here (OOP $.99)
3 Colgate Total @ $2.99 = $8.97 - Used 3 $1.50/1 Printable here (Received $8.97 ECB's, OOP $4.47)
2 Herbel Essence Shampoo and Conditioner @ $2.99 ea = $5.98 - Used $3/2 MQ (Received $1 ECB, OOP $2.98)
2 Stayfree Drymax Overnight @3.89 ea = $7.78 - Used B1G1 MQ (Received $4 ECB, OOP $3.89)
1 Energy Shot @ $4.99 - (Received $4.99 ECB)

-$3 on $15
-$13 ECB's

Total OOP $3.21, Received $18.96 in ECB's, but it should have been $20.96, Received $3 off $15
Total in ECB's on hand $29.95

So, as you can see I will have to take the Suave back because it didn't give me my $2 ECB's because it says I need to spend 1cent more. Yea, crazy right. Not to happy about that one! (I still haven't gotten my coupon for my free bottle of Suave??? Whats up with that?)

I have been trying to participate in Kingdom First Mom's CVS $5 Challenge each week.

You ought to participate as well!

I noticed that all 3 bottles of Suave I bought rang up at $1.99- but I still got my ECB's. I checked to make sure I got all of them before I left the parking lot (I've been shorted before, but customer service has always been good about resetting them). I didn't even notice the price difference til I got home!

Yea, I went back the next day and they forced the $2 ECB. He was surprised to that it said I still needed to spend $.01 to get the $2 ECB.
