In Honor of Amber Johnston and Her Family!

While I never met Amber through Richmond Mommies,I have spoken to her on several occasions and we had plans to meet up with the kids. Amber passed away to be with God on Saturday, January 31st! Amber and her husband, Gary has two beautiful kids.

I am very heart broken with what has happened. I keep thinking about those children and what they must be going through! I can't seem to get this off my mind and have cried on several occasions just thinking about it!

I just want all of you mommies out there to just give your kids that extra hug and love, give your husband another I love you and kiss and hold onto the moment with them. Love them with all of your heart.
Tonight I enjoyed some time with my girls! My husband isn't feeling well, hope you feel better honey!
I love my family!

My heart goes out to this family. I can only imagine the pain they're feeling right now. I know how terribly difficult grief can be...I lost my husband to liver failure on July 5, 2007. We were married for almost forty years and had three children along with five grandchildren. We still miss him terribly.

My deepest condolences to this father and his girls. There are no words that will help them heal...only time. My prayers certainly are with them tonight...Mattie
