I eat my words, because I remember stating to someone that my breast have never leaked before with by two previous births. Like I say, I eat my words because when DD3 is nursing and I let down, which is so painful, I leak. WEIRD!! And here of late it is not only a little bit it is a lot. I don't get it, why the change now from what I was used to dealing with. But hey, as a mom it is just one of those things that I have to deal with.
My Milkies sent me a milk saver along with a bag and t-shirt. The milk saver is slim and portable and also BPA and phthalate-free. It collects your breastmilk while you nurse and you can't see it.
I was unsure of how this product would work, but all I had to do was to slip the milk saver on my non nursing side in my bra cup and it did the work for me. I was shocked to see how much milk that I wasted each time I nursed and the other side was leaking without the milk saver.
It is very discreet, because my husband couldn't even tell I had it on. I asked him if he noticed if my bra looked weird, he said no why? So, I was relieved to know that he couldn't tell I had it on, because then I knew I could wear it in public or around family when breastfeeding and no one would know.
My Milkies is an environmentally conscious company and breasfeeding is something to be proud of.
Needless to say here, this will be something that I pack in the diaper bag everywhere we go. I think I need to get a bigger diaper bag to fit everything. HAHA. But mommy tested and approved!!

best idea EVER! I watched the video, and like they said, it's because milk comes out both sides when it lets down and you loose the milk on the side that you're not nursing on. That's all the milk I would need to mix her cereal with(we just started this week). I've been pumping for a minute while I feed on the other side to just get enough to mix cereal with and this would be a much better idea!

I told you in my first entry, but I would use it to get a little milk to mix a tiny bit of her cereal together. Thanks so much for the chance!
From the Milkies video I learned that you can waste up to 4oz. of milk from your non nursing breast! That's quite a bit of milk! I often wondered about this when I was nursing my other two. I'm so glad someone came out with a product like this!

I learned that you can leak up to 4 ounces on the non-feeding side! I've always leaked a lot while feeding my baby, but I had no idea I was leaking that much!

Breastfeeding burns 600 caloris a day! That's cool! This looks like a really cool product I would LOVE to try.

This is the best idea ever! I thought I was the only one soaking towels when nursing my boys until I saw that in the video. I MUST have one of these for my third baby. I loved nursing but seriously leaked out the non- nursing side so much that I had to change the baby and myself and I went through boxes and boxes of disposable pads. What a great idea!!

If I were to win this I would be selfish and use it myself! However, I assume after sterilizing it could be used by another mama!
oh no! I forgot to make sure my email was included. It is 2boysmama@mail.com sorry!
Wow. I never realized how much milk was wasted. As much as I've breastfed, I've probably wasted gallons! lol
