Snow in Virginia in December



Its not very often that we here in Virginia get snow.  So when you do, you take pictures.  And for people around here because we don't get snow often, the poor local stores and movie stores are crowded with people getting milk, bread and water and movies.  Yes, I know we don't live in Massachussetts or Ohio or out there.  Its pretty crazy.  Did we do that??  No, my hubby is from Massachussetts and he says I will go out in it.  Crazy man.  So, he did...tonight he went out and got us some Blue Bunny Ice Cream Cones and a movie.  YUMMY!!!

We already have about 6 inches of snow and that is expected to continue with us getting more tomorrow of about another 5-6 inches.  I love it!!  It is so beautiful!

Daddy and I need to finish our Christmas shopping, hopefully Mom will be coming into town to watch the girls so we can get our shopping done.  We have a few more places to go to get it all done.

Well, hope you all that are getting snow are enjoying it.  The kids are going to be very excited in the morning when they see all the snow we got over night.

Ahh I love the snow! I live in northeast PA (Close to the Pocono Mountains) and we get a lot of it.

This storm is suppossed to get to us today, we'll probably only get 6-8 inches though.

Hope your kids love playing in it! :)

I too have not gone anywhere today and enjoyed staying home all day. The kids and I made cake and macaroni salad.
