How To // Couponing Tip

(autopost)
This is a How To and/or Couponing Tip:

I get a lot of emails on how to get other coupons than only your Newspaper Coupons...
  • Are there companies out there that you are always using their products and can never seem to find their coupons?
  • Are there coupons out there but you just need more of them?
  • Do you ever buy a product and have a problem with the product, but just throw out the product and move on with your life?
Well, let me tell you something that I learned about a year ago, but I have to tell you...it can be time consuming, but that time pays off in the end.

Here is what you need to do to see if you can get extra coupons:
  • Look on the internet of the company that you are interested in
  • Look to see if they have a special section for coupons that you can print them out
  • Find a "contact us"
  • Send email
    • Make sure your email includes why you are emailing them, what you are looking for, your name and address
Yes it is that easy.  I will tell you, some will email back and tell you they will send you coupons and some won't.  The ones that don't email you back you will either just receive the coupons in the mail or that will be the end of it.  A lot of the times the coupons that you receive are more high dollar coupons and/or to get a freebie

Here is what you need to do when you get a product that you have a problem with:
  • Find the company on the internet and/or contact them with the contact information on your product
  • Send email
    • Make sure your email includes what happened with your products with your name and address
Normally you will hear back from these companies and a lot of them will want to compensate you somehow.  I had this happen with some pampers that I got when I used to use them and I emailed them to tell them what happened, and I was compensated in the mail.

It is always worth a try!!

Hope this helps for those of you who are new to couponing and even old to it.

Good tips, Shannon! I completely agree that if you have a problem with a product to contact the company. I think I've heard back from every company that I've ever written to or called about a defect or issue and they have all been more than willing to send high-dollar coupons or to replace the item completely. It's definitely worth a try, what's the worst that can happen? They ignore you or say no? They want to keep your business, so it's not very likely!

    Great post!
