I'm Behind... Accept My Apology

I am sorry to be very behind, however life has been rather crazy for us here as of late.

Let me fill you in...
Baby B has been sick for the last three weeks however it just got worse. Wednesday I took her to the doctor and she was diagnosed with strep.  So, they put her on stronger antibiotics because she was already on antibiotics which were not working.  Thursday night Sister E woke up at 2AM and threw up!  I still took let her go to school because she seemed fine, no fever or anything.  She didn't eat breakfast though. I called the doctors office that morning and said it seemed that Sister E was also getting strep, could we get an antibioic to go ahead and kick it So they called it in for me. I left work about 230PM to get Sister E from school and then get her meds and then pack up the camper.  But why is it whenever you are early or leave early, nothing ever pans out the way you want it to.  NOTHING!

On my way to get Sister E, I get a call from the sitter that Baby B just threw up all over the place.  Seriously!!  WTH.  So at this point, I just decided to get them both and go back to the doctors. Come to find out Baby B hadn't even started to get better with the meds, so they gave her the antibiotic shot and Sister E also had strep throat along with a UTI. Needless to say I didn't leave the doctors office until 5pm, had to get her meds and then go and get Big Sister J from the sitters.

We head off to camping, which I will be doing a review.  The kids had up and down moments, but more of the down moments.  A lot of potty trips, throwing up, messy dipes and some seriously lethargic girls. Thankfully Big Sister J didn't get it, I thought at point she was getting sick because she said her stomach was upset, but.  Appears ok.

The ride home Sunday should have only taken 2.5 hours, it ended up taking us 6 hours to get home!  Potty breaks, cleaning up messy diapers, cleaning up throwing up.  Oh it was horrible.

I ended up staying home Monday to stay with the girls whom spent most of the day in the bathroom.  I took them back to the doctor and they also have the stomach virus.  WHAT?  Come on now.  Do you want to add anything else to that for them.  Seriously give these babies a break because not only do they have the stomach virus, the antibiotics don't help the messed up tummy!

Tuesday I took the girls to their normal places in hopes to make it through the day. We made it through the day, but I did get a call from the sitter that Baby B threw up all over the place.  COME ON!

So, to say the least, I am behind and I recognize that, I have winners to annouce and giveaways to promote on facebook and reviews & giveaways to post, I will get them.  However, Mommy is first right now to her babies.

Please accept my apology!  I will get them soon and hopefully I will get them tonight.

Anyone else going through this?

Yikes! I don't think I could ever take sick kids camping and being a day car provider,I would not allow a sick kid who was throwing up in my home, so that is cool that your sitter did that for you.

Hope things get better for you and them soon.

Well we already had reservations and we were in a camper, so I needed to get away. It was nice and the kids enjoyed it. Although there was lots of bathroom trips and throwing up, it was still enjoyable to get away. The ride home was the worst and that is what made me wish we didn't go.

My at home sitter only keeps Baby B, she doesn't have any other kids. So we are lucky in that aspect. Thankfully!
