Tell us all about you and your family

I married my sweetie in July 2006. Graduated in April 2008 with a degree in English Language Arts with an emphasis in elementary education. I got a job as an early preschool teacher in December 2007 and had a blast taking care of 8 two and a half year old's. My husband and I then welcomed our first son into the world in September 2008. When he was 10 month old we found out we were pregnant again (super awesome) and welcome our second son into the world April 2010. Three days before I was supposed to go back to work off my maternity leave with my second son we were waiting to hear back to see if my husband had been hired in at a new job. We couldn't wait any longer so I went in an quit my job. We both wanted for me to stay at home and raise our kids so I did it. We would be pinching every penny we had if he didn't get hired but it would be worth it. TWO HOURS after quitting my job we got a phone call that my hubby got the job! I was finally going to be able to stay home with my children and do it comfortably!

Why did you start Blogging?

I've had a personal family blog for about 4 years and enjoyed writing in it. Very few people read it however. But I love to write so I kept up with it. About 6 months ago, shortly after my 2nd was born I started up a new blog called Cloth Diaper Addiction. We had switched to cloth diapers as a way to save money and I enjoyed it so much I wanted to be able to share with others what I was learning and as much about cloth diapering as possible.

What do you like most about Blogging?

I love the relationships you can build with other bloggers. I now have two great contributors for my blog who are amazing! I have also talked with a lot of other moms who are bloggers and its fun to keep up with everyone and all the great stuff they find or have going on in their lives.

I write a lot of diaper reviews for my readers so that they can learn about the diapers before they go out and spend a ton of money on them and end up not liking that certain brand. I have two favorite blogs. The first is "Fitteds and Pockets and Snappis, Oh my!" This is a great site that helped me out when I started along in my cloth diapering journey (http://www.change-diapers.com/) The second blog that you can usually find me looking through is Saving Addiction. This is run by to Moms who are local to me. They provide some awesome information for helping save money, get freebies, and teach you all about using coupons(http://savingaddiction.com/)!

Tell us all about you and your family

I am a 24 year women who loves photography, baking, and arts & crafts. My husband and I have been married for a little over a year and a half and together for almost 5 years. We have had are typical up's and downs. You know the dating, three months later getting pregnant, and oh yeah breaking up two weeks before we were to be married. A lot to go through for a couple of 19 year olds! But despite statistics we made through it and are now raising our two beautiful girls Carleigh (3.21.07) and Kendall (12.15.09) and hope to make another lil baybah soon!

Why did you start Blogging?

I saw someone else with one and thought, "Hey, that's cool. I want to do that!" and BAM, I did!

What do you like most about Blogging?

My top 3 reasons I blog:
1. I can not for the life of me remember anything! My blog is like my personal journal on raising my kids.

2. My source of non-income. There is no way I could live off of the income/things I get from my blog, but it's my little way of helping contribute to my family.
3. The relationships. I have meet some awesome women through blogging and love the community us mom blogs have built together!

Tell us all about you and your family

I am a perfectly content stay-at-home mom.  We have three amazing kiddos!  The Genius (girl) age 7, The Hippie (girl) age 6 and The Professor (boy) currently 4 months old.  My husband and I have been married for 9 years now and we want to do something really fun for our 10 year anniversary!  Our girls are currently in public school for the first time.  Prior to this we home-schooled and we plan on doing it again (hopefully next year)!  For the Professor we are completely cloth diapering and loving it!  We are currently hunting for a job since my hubby finished his career in the military.  He proudly served in the Marines and later the Army.  We are excited to see where the job search leads us!

Why did you start Blogging?

We are always on the move.  Our family is very spread out and this made it easy to keep in touch with everyone.  However, my primary reason to remember all the little moments we might otherwise forget.  My friend and I used to joke how every mother needs a "mommy camera" built into their finger tip so they can capture great moments when they happen.  My blog is my "mommy cam".

What do you like most about Blogging?

I love when something neat happens during the day and my husband and I look at each other and say, "We have to blog that."

This is probably my favorite blog that I read.  Jess is the mother to a mess of kids....the cutest and sweetest kids!  She and her husband are doing an incredible job raising their kids.  Every time I read her blog I feel inspired and encouraged.  Sometimes during one post I will laugh and cry!  She is amazing and I would love to meet their family sometime.

Something silly...the grocery store is one of my absolute favorite places to be. I know a lot of people hate grocery shopping, but there and my kitchen are my happy places!

I am the full-time working mom of three great kids, Rylie is 9, Landon is 8 and Harper is almost 2. I'm also the fiance of a great guy, Alex, and we're getting married in January! I'd say we're a pretty normal family...oh, who am I kidding. There aren't any normal families!

Why did you start Blogging?

I have always been obsessed with recipes and have loved to cook since I was little. I keep my favorite recipes in a binder that's busting at the seams, so I thought that meant it was a good time to start a blog and have some organization of my creations! My favorite part of cooking is being able to share it with other people, which my blog allows me to do so much more of now. Its a really fun project!

What do you like most about Blogging?

I like connecting with people and sharing recipes the most. I've met some really awesome bloggers since I started mine. I love it when people come back to the blog and tell me they made and enjoyed something I've posted, that makes my day! Its also a really great creative outlet, I love to write as well as cook, so I get the chance to do a little of both.

It might be considered more of a website than an actual blog, but I absolutely adore http://www.tastespotting.com/. Its food porn at its finest, and I love to admire the lovely photos. In addition, I usually find some really great recipes or inspiration while visiting the site. I've also gotten connected to some fantastic blogs by browsing around the site too.

So, head on over to Pie Hole and read her awesome recipes and tell her I sent you that way.  Great time to go that way too with Thanksgiving and Christmas on the way.

Blogger Shout-outs! -- Do You Want to Join in?

Starting December 6^th, I will start doing Blogger Shout-outs on my blog.  The reason I want to do this is really because there are so many awesome blogs out there that I love to read and I am sure that others would love to read also and may not even know about them.  I also think this is a great way to get some blogs out there that want to get some traffic to or that are new to the bloggers world.

I will run them on Monday, so they will run once a week on Mondays where I will have a series of questions that the blogger answers and then a link to their blog.  I would also love to include a picture if you are interested or just your botton from your blog.
