ME and REEKIE Booties Review and Giveaway

I recently worked with a wonderful Etsy shop owner, Marie, from ME and REEKIE.

Let me tell you a little bit about Maria:
I live on the beautiful central coast of California. I've been designing and sewing ever since I can remember :)

When I became a mom, I started making clothing for my children, other people wanted it too - and ME and REEKIE was born!

I feel blessed to be able to do exactly what makes me happy.

Maria's Etsy Shop, ME and REEKIE has all kinds of products that she makes, booties, jackets, bibs, hats, sandals and she is working on Summer stuff.  Maria sent me a pair of her Pink Leopard Booties to review.

We love these booties, they are so soft and we wear with our cloth diapers, baby legs attire, as you can see.

Booties have cotton chenille on the outside, print polar fleece on the inside, next to the babies skin. Elastic in the back, around the ankle and a snap closure. Bottom is made of ultrasuede. All seams are enclosed in bias tape to ensure the utmost comfort of your babies tootsies! These booties will not fall off!

The best part of these booties, they don't fall off.  We have tried a few different booties, (I have three kids) and booties never stayed on, socks either. Not these, these were absolutely perfect on her feet.

Guess what, its getting warm out and we still wear these around the house since the air conditioning is on.  They are comfortable and a must have for your baby's attire. They also have matching hats and jackets to match the booties. What baby should not have these?

Little Washies from My Bella Baby Review and Giveway Ends 5/7

I recently had the chance to work with a wonderful Etsy Shop and you all know how much I love me some Etsy.    I worked with Kayla from My Bella Baby who make amazing little products for babies.
Here is some bio about her:
I am recently married and enjoy being a housewife and spending my days sewing, cooking, baking, reading and being thankful for all that God has blessed me with.

My Bella Baby was created out of my love for babies. I love to imagine all of the babies and mommas that are enjoying my handmade items. I put a lot of time and love into what I do, so my products are something special to give and receive.

The name My Bella Baby was formed for all of the mommies that have experienced what a beautiful blessing children are. Babies bring joy and happiness to so many lives.

There is so much out there for babies but I find it hard to spend a lot of money on baby things when they last for such a short period of time. So, there came my inspiration for what I do. I want to make baby items (more coming soon) that are affordable for whoever is buying and still offer style, comfort and quality in that price. I know having a baby is expensive and my goal is to cut down on that cost for all of you mommies, grandmas, aunts, etc. that love to buy for your little darling. So that way it is a feeling of joy instead of guilt when you buy that cute pair of booties that your baby really didn't "need". Go ahead, indulge!

I make sure to provide great customer service and work as hard as I can to ensure satisfaction of your purchase. I will do what I can to create custom and wholesale orders for anyone interested.

Kayla sent me three of her Little Washies so that each of my girls would have their own to try.  She custom made three different ones for each of the girls. I will tell you that Sister E was so excited to not be using a wash cloth and could use something that she could easily pick up and put soap on.  Big Sister J who is 8 even liked using this because it was just easy to pick up and squirt some soap on the washie and wash up.

Sister E thought it was a blast to wash the tub up with the Little Washie.  "Mommy, I cleaning the tub with the Little Washie!"  Super cute.  She is definitly in that stage where she wants to do everything by herself and she doesn't want any help.  Oh it is so cute, because normally I would have to help her with the washcloth, well with the Little Washie she is ready to go.  I just squirt some soap on and she is washing up.

Now with Baby B, of course I am washing her up, she can't do it yet. .  But I will say that with the elastic band to hold with it is so easy to wash her.  Always have a hard time getting under her chunky chin, so these are perfect for me to get under there and clean her up!  I love it.

What I love the best about these,  I can just put these in the washing machine in with my cloth diapers and they clean just perfect.  I have noticed with more washing (just like with cloth diapers) they have gotten more absorbent and hold the water a bit more which it awesome.

What new mommy and mommy of a little one going through "I can do it" stage wouldn't want these.
My Bella Baby also has some other great products like booties, changing pads, burp clothes, nursing pads and other products.  And I don't think I mentioned, but she has amazing prices on her products that she sells.

BUY IT:
Check out My Bella Baby's and look around.
Little Washies for a set of 5 are only $5.95.  Thats right, $5.95!
She currently is holding a special for April that if you spend $25 at her shop, you will get free shipping!

GIVEAWAY:
Kayla would like to give one of my lucky readers/followers a set of 5 of their very own Little Washies from My Bella Baby that is currently available in the shop.

I'm a Babywearer and I use a Fleece Pullover by Whizbeff Review

I'm a babywearer and didn't start until my second daughter, honestly I never knew there were products out there for it.  With my second daughter it wasn't a must, but I did when she felt that she needed to touch skin, if you read my previous post.

With my 3rd daughter, she loves to be held close and being with mommy.  For a while when I would go to work and leave her with daddy, she had the hardest time because she wanted mommy to be with her.  So, I tried a Ergo Baby Carrier and it solved all issues.  We use this probably almost every day.  What we found hard was if we were outside, was to keep myself warm and to keep her warm.

Well, you all know how much I love Etsy right?  Well I found this beautiful Fleece Pullover from Whizbeff and oh my gosh, I fell in love.  Daddy and I went to a yard sale one Saturday morning and it was cold outside, she wanted to be held...So I put this Pullover on overtop of my ergo baby carrier, and seriously we were set to go. Look at this, I thought this was awesome and it was needed.

We used this everywhere we went, Baby B loved it because it kept her warm, but didn't mean I had to put on a gob of clothes just to keep her warm.  It was awesome.  We have washed it several times and have had no issues.

Now that it is springtimeout and there is still that chill out and you need a little something to keep warm and a little something to keep your child warm, whizbeff has just what you need, a Babywearing Vest that you can wear over your babywearer and keep both you and baby warm.

Now that I am a babywearer, I am so amazed of all the beautiful products out there and certainly amazed by the handmade products that mama's make!

Here is a little bit about the mama behind Whizbeff:
i'm a gal who loves to craft almost as much as i love my husband and my six B-E-A-Utiful kids.

the outdoors inspires my crafting most of the time.

i think my ideal day would involve some hiking with my funky bunch, crafting, thrift store hoping, hanging out with soul mates discussing theology over tea, and more crafting.

Whizbeff doesn't just specialize in these special pullovers, she makes other products that are just as amazing.  Head on over to Whizbeff's Etsy Shop and you will love her stuff just as much as I do.

Baby Hoots Cloth Diaper Review

Baby Hoots is another Etsy shop that I fell in love with and are supr cute. I recently was sent this super shiny red Baby Hoots One Size Cloth Diaper It is beautiful.

The one size diapers fit your babies from 10lbs-35lbs+. There are durable snaps to adjust the size they provide just the right fit for your babies of all shapes and sizes. You can also customize the absorbancy to fit baby's needs with the pocket.

As you can see my daughter was going through at the time of testing this diaper only wearing diapers at night time. She is 25 lbs and this diaper was an amazing fit on her. Sister E loves colors and girly stuff (like dresses and the whole 9 yards) so this red was a big hit.

With Sister E we could never put a fitted and cover on her, so I am glad that no cover is needed. The outer layer of the diaper is waterproof. The inner layer is micro fleece which wicks moisture away leaving Sister E nice and dry. This was a great diaper to use with her at night time because it came with a super absorbant bamboo insert. I think while wearing it she only had two oops but no leaks. Oops meaning she urinated during the night. DH changed her the first morning after she urinated and he could not even tell she was wet, and said it wasn’t wet, I pulled the insert out and the insert was wet. So, this was awesome, while we were training.

Baby Hoots are gorgeous and run at $25 per diaper.  When buying a one size diaper, this is an amazing price, because you can use them from infant to toddlers and if you plan to have another use them for them.

Andrea from Baby Hoots is a sweet heart and a pleasure to deal with so if you need anything just convo her and she can help you!

My motto with this diaper is "Hoots Off to Baby Hoots!!"

BUY IT:
If you are interested, head over to Baby Hoots and make your purchase

Sassy Stork Car Seat Cover Review

(autopost)

Do you dislike the car seat cover you have on your Baby’s Car Seat? Well, I disliked ours. I washed it a million times and nothing I did made it look any prettier, it was green....Blah, very boring. Well as you all know…I love me some handmade Etsy products. I have come across some really wonderful products from Etsy. Its funny, I never even knew about Etsy until about 5 months ago!
Anyway, Sassy Stork is one of these wonderful Etsy shops that makes beautiful car seat covers. ♥ The Sassy Stork offers infant car seat covers, burp cloths, bibs, diaper bags, headrests, and strap covers♥. She has a Design Your Own (DYO) Infant Car Seat Cover and does amazing work.

Sassy Stork sent us the Carnival Bloom Infant Car Seat Cover for the Graco Snug Ride. I was shocked when I received the package, because it was in a smaller package and when I opened it, it was absolutely beautiful.  It comes with complete instructions that are very well put to put the cover on and how to put the canopy on.  I will tell you the canopy is a pain to get on and just like in the instructions it seems like you are going to break the piece to get the old canopy on, but you won't. TRUST ME!

The minky was so plush and soft and adorable and I just love the color pink. And guess what? You just place the cover right over your current cover, it slips right on with no problems.  It even makes the car seat much softer.  I have a heart for minky as well as my husband because it is so soft.

Baby B loves this car seat cover, because of the colors being so bright.  And as you know infants love bright colors!!  She stares at the canopy when it is open and a lot of the times, it calms her down.

Here are some pictures of Baby B in her carseat.  The first picture was of Sister E who fell asleep on the car seat with Baby B in their a couple of weeks ago!

I can't tell  you how many comments we have received on this car seat cover. I have had so many people say "I wish I had one of these when my baby was little, that is gorgeous!" The MamaBears Kind sign matched well with this beautiful car seat as well.  I was impressed and overall very happy.  I wish we had one of these for both of my other girls, because most of the car seat covers you get with your car seats are just boring.

Sassy Stork also makes beautiful carrier covers for your little darlings that will fit most bjorn, snugli and Jeep Carriers.  Also made with minky that is so soft.

BUY IT:
How could you not want one of these beautiful car seat covers or any of her other products offered here? If you are interested, head over to Sassy Stork and check out her products, I promise you will fall in love with them like we have.

Right now...a message from Sassy Stork.

Diva Baby Designs Leg Warmers Review and Giveaway Ends 3/21

I don't know about you guys, but I really like my girls to keep their legs warms.  So, leggings are a must around here.  I had never heard of leggings before, until Baby B!  And I have fallen in love with them.

I love me some WAHM products and Etsy is the perfect place to find the most of your WAHM products.  I love to show them love because they do amazing work!

Another amazing WAHM is Diva Baby Designs and sent me her Valentines Day Red and Pink Striped Leggings to review.   They are one size fit most and will fit babies and toddlers.  It says will even fit teenagers, but I think if they have long legs that it won't work too well as leg warmers.  However, if you wanted to use them as a arm warmers, you could do that to.   But around here my girls will be using these lovely legs warmers for just that, keeping their legs warm.

They are absolutely beautiful.  My husband still isn't on board with the looks of leggings, he is only on board with the fact that it keeps the girls legs warm.

The best part about leg warmers is that I love to just put a t-shirt on the girls and then they can wear their leg warmers.  For Baby B it is a t-shirt, cloth diaper and her leg warmers.  I tell you...I love the look of the leg warmers with the cloth diapers.

Let me tell you a little bit about Leslie, the Work at Home Mama behind Diva Baby Designs....and how she came about her shop and the other products she makes...
I started making tutus and headbands when I couldn't find what I needed for my daughter Lily! Lily didn't have much hair and was always getting called a boy!! Grr! Unfortunately the headbands I found were either too small or they would leave a big indent on her head. So I felt guilty putting her in them just to make her look more girly! So I made her one with a really soft, flat cotton head band and sewed a beautiful flower on it! It was so comfortable she didn't pull it off and even forgot it was there! So, then I made her another one and so on! I also made her a tutu for her birthday and it turned out great! One of my friends seen a picture of her in it and wanted me to make her daughter one. Then another friend and her friend too! I thought I might be on to something here! So, I did a local craft show and my tutus and headbands sold really well! Now here I am on etsy trying to make this into a professional, profitable business! Wish me luck!

I have never put any of my kids in tutu's, but after looking at Diva Baby Designs Tutu's, I think any mama would want to put their little girl in a tutu. You can choose your colors that you want.  And hey if you like to dress your dog, she even custom makes tutu's for your dog.

She also makes gorgeous High Chair Covers that are to die for. I never would have thought about a high chair cover, but I seriously think that is because you would never be able to find them anywhere.  Well, look no further, because Leslie makes several different high chair covers and some even come with a skirt.  And don't worry mamas there are designs that she makes for your little boys as well!  Leslie has got it covered.

Conscious Children's Clothes (Gaiababy) Training Pants Review and Giveaway

Check out those super cute training pants!

We have been trying to get Sister E out of diapers and only in panties or training panties. So recently, Sister E was ever so lucky to review Conscious Children's Clothes (Gaiababy) ever so cute training panties.  Ok, sorry...Jenn from Conscious Chilren's Clothes actually calls them training pants, but around our house they are panties.

(I did take pictures, but I will have to apologize DH is ok with cloth diaper photos, but just seriously a little iffy about the panties pictures and I totally agreed with him.)

When the panties arrived, DH took them out and showed Sister E.  You would have thought we got her toys or something because she was so excited and wanted to put them on right then and there. However we had to explain to her they had to be washed first.  So we washed them, which you need to wash separately because the color will run the first time they are washed.

Once they were washed and dried, Sister E wanted them on.  And from this day forward these are the panties she wants to wear.  DH and I couldn't figure out for the life of us why she had to wear these panties over her other ones.  Well we finally figured it out.  DH picked up Sister E from school one day and the teacher told him when they potty the door is open so the teachers can help them (she is only 2.5) and one of the little girls saw her panties and Sister E was so happy to show her them.  LOL. Sister E liked having something that the other girls didn't (she just likes to be different like that anyway).  She got to wear stylish panties that are great for the earth.

When we talk about stylish, Jenn definitly has stylish products available. She has all kinds of stylish stuff, such as these New Heart and Angel Baby Pants Outfit. They are adorable.  You want something custom, ask her I am sure she can work with you and make something that you will like and it will look adorable like all the rest of her stuff.
Here is a little blurb about Jenn and her shop:
