Ninny's Nappies Cloth Diapers Review and Giveaway (Please support my Local area)

I was so excited when I was contacted by Franklin Goose to review a cloth diaper that was made right here in Richmond, Va (my hometown) called Ninny's Nappies. I love to support my local area so when I received the email, I was so excited.  And when I say I was so excited, I had to call my DH who was at work and tell him about it!  I know I am crazy, but I did.

When we received the diaper, I immediately washed it and and washed the insert a few times.  I couldn't wait to test this out.   Like I always do, I check out the diaper, the ins and out of it.
WHAT:

Ninny's Nappies sent me a size Newborn Hello Kitty Organic Cloth Diaper pocket with insert.

LOOK:

What a beautiful diaper. Ninny's Nappies are 100% handmade with a mother's love. They like to use reusable products whenever possible.
It has one row of snaps and also has snaps for an adjustable rise.




FIT:

Baby B had an amazing fit to Ninny's Nappies and the leg gussetts were a plus to have.  Baby B just recently has chubby legs and the diapers still have a great fit on her and I loved the way they did on her.

HOW:

So, I know you all are wanting to know how the diaper worked.  Well honestly when I first tried the diaper, I had some leaking issues, so I immediately contacted Franklin Goose's Sheri and if this was normal.  Sheri walked me through on maybe some issues that I was doing wrong, like the washing of the insert and adjusting the rise.  So, we tried it again adjusting the rise and no more leaks.  I was so happy because I wanted to be able to support my local company where this was handmade in my area and she was able to help me with that.

After the 2nd attempt, I was so happy with the fact that it didn't leak again this time and with adjusting the rise I noticed that the diaper wasn't as high in the front as it was the first time, which helped with the no leaking.

As with all diapers that I review, I like to test them in all aspects of life.  So, lastly I had to see how the hold up would do overnight.  Must I tell you, I was a little unsure only because of what happened before which was more on my end and not the diapers.  I did add an additional soaker because my Baby B can fill up a diaper overnight quickly! NO LEAKS, NO LEAKS, NO LEAKS! 

One other plus is that this diaper is not bulky by any means.

I hadn't had time to tell Daddy to try this diaper out and I came home one evening after work and he said, "Honey, I put the Hello Kitty diaper on, and it fits her good."  Yes, Daddy is HAPPY

TESTED AND APPROVED?

So, after reviewing the diaper in our normal routings of life, we overall like the diaper and give it a very high rating of approval.  DH and I had it easy when laying her down to change her. And just look at her, isn't she adorbale.  Mommy and Daddy tested and Mommy and Daddy approved.
