Sleeping Habits

So, do your kids have sleeping habits?

I have three girls and I love to watch my girls sleep, I have millions of pictures of them sleeping!  They are so sound and just so beautiful!  I love it.  Right now my 26 week old is sound asleep beside me.

My now 8 year old really didn't have any major habits that were hard to break. She had a binky, but only for a short time.  She had a blanket, but it wasn't a certain blanket, so with her thankfully easy.

My almost 3 year old, a very different story.  When she was little and I used to breastfeed her, she held on to my breasts.  At first I really didn't think anything of it, but what I noticed, is that it was my skin that she needed.  When we weaned her, and she was bottlefed at night, it was one hand holding the bottle and the other hand touching my skin. This is weird...she never took to a binky, but when we had our 3rd daughter who would use a binky, all the sudden she wanted to use a binky and has ever since.  It is a strange thing, but... So when she has the binky in her mouth, she needs to touch skin, it could be your arm, my back, my face.  She doesn't like daddy's skin as much because he has hair, but if I am doing something else of if I am not here, he will work.  Its the funniest thing.

My 26 week old she does take to a binky, but it isn't a necessity to fall asleep and she is breastfed, but doesnt need the breast to fall asleep.  I noticed that with her she likes blankets.  Not to cover up with but she likes to touch them, she puts them on her face!  Its cute.  I just wonder with her if this is something that she is just going through right now, or one of those things that she will keep going through.

I just think it is interesting after having 3 kids what each of them go through and how they are all not the same.

Growing up, I didn't have a sleeping habit or something that I had to have.  I'm a blanket girl and let me tell you, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE blankets.  I have them all over my house and have millions of them.  (So, hint hint...if you have a blanket that you would like for me to review, I would love to, just kidding!) but I do.  I have them everywhere.  So, for me, I have to have a blanket to go to sleep, but not a certain one.

Now my husband has a sleeping habit that was new for me...he likes to have his own blanket, so when we go to sleep we do not share blankets which at first took me some time to get used to.  But he does not like the one leg touching the other leg or what have you, so he takes his blankets to make sure that doesn't happen.  So, he uses a whole king size blanket.  Now we have been married for a little over 3 years and now I sleep with my own king size blanket and I don't want to share.  Haha.  Isn't that funny!

So, just because I am curious, do you and/or your family have sleeping habits, if so what are they!

I'm so glad that you admitted this - haha. I thought my bf and I were the only couple who each had our own blanket. We each use regular sized fleece blankets that are tied? So they are fairly small, but we each have our own - lol. I just recently got accepted from sleepnumber for a blanket of theirs, so I ordered a king size (even though we use a full sized bed) to see if we'll be able to share if the blanket is big enough. lol. I hope we can, but after reading your post I'm less hopeful. haha. :)
