I received information from Jennifer's Cloth Diaper Boutique, that there will be a Birth Expo this Saturday, April 17th, here is the information
We are pleased to announce that Roanoke's most innovative
educational Exposition is coming again on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at
Tanglewood Mall. Hosted by the New Life Birth Center, La Leche League
of Roanoke, and the International Cesarean Awareness Network of
Southwestern Virginia
As in the past we will have educational sessions that cover
nutrition and exercise during pregnancy, how to avoid a cesarean
section, breastfeeding, midwifery care and more. Women will have the
chance to meet health care providers and pick up information about
healthy pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. Last year we had 26
exhibitors such as the International Cesarean Awareness Network, the
La Leche League, local childbirth educators, doulas, midwives,
physicians, chiropractors, and others.
We will have live demonstrations as well as an awards ceremony
honoring 2 local community leaders who have made contributions in the
areas of childbirth education, midwifery, or breastfeeding support.
Jennifer's Cloth Diaper Boutique will be doing several giveaways such as Mommy's Touch, Thirsties and Gro Baby. It will start at 10 AM and go until 4PM.
Here is some more information from New Life Birth Center!
I may see how far this is from me and go. Hmmmm... Anyone else interested in going with us?

Love that you're a Virginia blogger! Roanoke is still 4 or 5 hours from me, though, so I don't think I'll be going. I just keep hoping that some good CD stuff will come to the Norfolk/VaBeach/NewportNews/etc. area.
Yea, I'm in Richmond and it is just a little too far from me 2. I looked it up and it is quite a distance for me.
