When I first got this diaper, it has the same Slide 2 Size legs like your Softbums Echo Diaper does and the Slide 2 Size was all the way down to your 5 lb baby size.  I was like oh wow, this isn't going to fit my daughter, WOW!  But when I opened it up,  to find the inserts, the DryTouch Pod and Mini Pod, I found that is where it is my like the Echo by sliding the legs to adjust directly to your size that you need. Softbums is the only diaper to do this. Now what is different about this diaper is that it has a pocket and this pocket has a snap for your DryTouch Pod or Mini Pod!  WOO HOO.  We are a pocket family, and it works better for DH and for our sitter.  So, like I said the Slide 2 Size was all the way to its smallest size , this make this diaper fit from as small as 5 lbs to as large as 35 lb toddler.

Check out this pocket!  It is a multi purpose pocket.

So, now you can use this diaper as a Pocket Diaper, an AI2 or even as a cover for one of your fitted diapers.  Hey thats right, several different ways to use this diaper.

This is the first multi purpose pocket of its kind and it is patent pending! They have also extended the wings a bit in this diaper to make it fit even bigger babies.

There are three colors, Snowcone, Coconut and Sprout and there will be new prints to be announced at the ABC Show in Vegas on October 10th.

This diaper has an amazing fit on Baby B.  We liked using the DryTouch Pod to stuff in the pocket and seriously if you need a perfect night time diaper, this is the one for you!  It is amazing!! Plus you have your mini pod that you can stick in there or you can do what we did, put the DryTouch Pod inside the pocket and placed the MiniPod on top and she was set for the night.  No leaks coming from that diaper.

Day 1 of Cloth Diaper Week: Soft Bums Review and Giveaway Ends 8/16

I recently got to review an awesome diaper made by Softbums. I have tried several diapers, pockets, AIO's, fitted diapers and many others, but not one like this one. Softbums are an AI2, which means that the soakers snap into the diaper. Not only is this diaper an AI2, but it is a One Size Diaper so you don't have to get several sizes.

Softbums are a system of hidden elastic drawstrings held in place with toggles. SoftBums diapers with Slide²Size are easy to adjust and get a perfect fit every time!

When I first received this diaper, I freaked out because I thought wow there is no way this diaper is going to fit my baby. Mama's I must be like a guy because I didn't read the directions like I should have. HAHA. I just kept playing around with this diaper and finally figured it out (without reading the directions) that I can toggle with it and adjust the size. So, literally this diaper can fit from a very small baby to your toddler size baby.

First you have the Echo Shell, which is a waterproof outer shell that still lets your baby breath. Again this shell is a one sit fits all, which is awesome because you can use it until potty training. Then you will need the Pods which easily fit into the diaper by snapping into your shell. There is no stuffing and what I love about this soaker is that it is extra long, so I can fold it over and it makes it even more absorbent.

So you take your pod and snap it into the shell and when your baby wets it or dirties it, you can take that pod out and replace it with another dry pod. Softbums recommends that you have to soaker pods per each shell, because you may get it wet and will need another shell.

Baby B had such an awesome fit in these diapers, they are super trim and we had absolutely no leaks with these diapers. We did have a leak the first time I put it on her, but it was because I didn't have the diaper adjusted to her size to fit her the right way.

This is a velcro diaper which with certain diapers I am not a real big fan of, however the velcro is not exposed with this diapers which I really like and the tabs are long enough that they can be overlapped. What I have noticed with Baby B is now that she is getting more mobile, I have noticed I have had to adjust the settings again and her tabs are overlapping again!
