Go, Baby, Go! was born in October of 2007, when Kelly & I saw a need for natural parenting products close to home. I had worn each of my first 2 babies in different kinds of carriers, from the very mainstream and uncomfortable Snuggli, to the bulky, but better Nojo sling. I was introduced to the Moby Wrap by my friend (and local author) Carol Pavliska when I was pregnant with #3. I wore my baby everywhere in the Moby Wrap, and everywhere I went, I was mobbed with people, usually other mothers, wanting to know what kind of carrier I was wearing and where I got it. The Bum Genius 4.0 are an upgrade to the BG 3.0 diapers and now they have snaps. I have a few 3.0's, but they are all aplix. Not only do they have snaps, but they also have three more colors that were brought on Bubble, Noodle and Sweet.
And now this diaper can accomodate those babies whom are bigger, which I can tell you that my daughter will be one of those. She is such a big girl. Look at her wearing her BG 4.0 and she will be 1 years old on Sunday.
The Bum Genius 4.0 is a diaper that fits most babies from 7 lbs to 35 lbs. You have three settings to make the diaper small, medium or large and to make it fit your baby best and now with these diapers you have easily resplaceable elastic that keeps your diapers fresh. With Snaps as an option, you can now have the leg area tighter than you could with the aplix and from time to time we suffered from leakage in the BG 3.0 diapers, however with the snap option, we have not had that problem. These diapers do come with 2 inserts, one the adjustable insert and the other the infant insert and you could also use both inserts to double up.
The Bum Genius 4.0 have proved to work for us at night time. We couldn't use the 3.0's because she leaked around the legs when worn for longer than 3 hours. We tried everything and with the snaps we have been able to use this diaper at night.

We had talked about cloth diapering with her, but just said since I had so many free packs of disposables (using coupons) we will just use those. Well, Baby B had something different in mind, her body said I don't like these and gave her a horrible rash that was bleeding. But I think if the gift registry was around or had I known it was around, we would have gone to cloth when she was first born.
