As you may very well notice from previous post of review and giveaways, I love my cloth wipes and honestly I would never go back at this point. I even use them, and I believe that these are great for our kids.

Well many of you who are my fans of Coupon Mommy Facebook know how much I love WAH Mommy businesses. Well, I had become pretty good friends with Tara from I ♥ Fluff on Facebook and learned about her shop, Country Drawers Store and one of the things that I love about this shop is she features a lot of WAHM products. So, as you look around, you'll probably notice that they carry a lot of of WAHM products and they love to feature WAHM products. The goal behind Country Drawers Store is to bring recognition to all the wonderful WAHM goods that are out there. But you will notice that they do carry a few of the "big" cloth diaper and natural baby products.


As a mommy who loves WAH Mommies, I loved Country Drawers Store and was so excited that she sent me some of her Cloth Wipes and guess what they are handmade right there at Country Drawers Store.

We were sent Orangic Bamboo Velour Wipes and Double Sided Flannel Wipes and from the minute I got them I fell in love with them. But not only did I fall in love with them because overall I just love cloth wipes, but I fell in love with them because of the quality of them. The beautiful design fabric on the top and velour or flannel on the bottom. And let me tell you something, I have never used Velour before or should I say never used velour before to wipe a baby's bum and I love it. When you have a baby who is super sensitive to a lot of things and to textures that touch her, this is absolute fabulous for those needs. They are very well made, I have a few cloth wipes where the thread that was used when they are washing start to unravel. These have been washed several times and go back and forth between our house and the sitters house and then on camping trips. So, I can count on my wipes lasting me a life time, which I love.


These wipes are all approx. 7 x 7". When folded in half, they fit inside a regular or travel wipes case for easy storage. However I like to use them for my wipe warmer, so I fold them in half and then roll them and stack them in the wipe warmer so then it is all ready for the solution. Best part leave them in the diaper and toss them in the wash and they are ready to go for the next use.  NO DISPOSABLES.  Woo hoo!


Country Drawers Store sells all kinds of wonderful products, products that I didn't even know some WAHM did. So, that was pretty awesome to see. You need to come on over to see what else they offer!

Cloth Diapers OORAH, Event #6: Turtles R Us Cloth Wipes Review and Giveaway Ends 09/29

Cloth Wipes are are of those accessories that just seem like the right thing to use when you are cloth diapering.  However I have come across many people who are still using disposable wipes and cloth diapering.  It was difficult for me, because it only seemed natural to place the dirty wipes in the diaper and if you are putting disposable ones in there you would have to go through it and throw them out.  That just seems like more work to me. 

I came across a neat little Etsy shop (I love me some etsy and have met some wonderful WAH mom's who make some amazing products) by the name of Turtles R Us.  I have to tell you guys about her, I asked her a couple of questions, because I tried to figure out what her shop name meant, and I wasn't even close, so I really wanted to know.

Kayla is the WAH mom behind Turtles R Us  Here she is: I have been sewing since I was 12! I've been blessed to stay home with my two boys since they were born. We are teaching our boys that they can be anything they want to be and that they should make money someday doing what they love or were born to do. I decided to start practicing that philosophy myself about 3 years ago. So far it's been going great! I'm happy doing what I love and even more thrilled that I can work from home and still be free to be there for my kids and family! When moma's happy, everbody's happy!


After building up my etsy reputation at kcarter.etsy.com (my first etsy shop), I named the second shop "TurtlesRUs" after my two sisters and I. We three sisters are all a little crafty and we also have a little thing about turtles. As a joke I told them that I was going to name the shop TurtlesRUs and sale my sewing wares. The shop took off immediately and I've been busy ever since! As you can see from the shop, I sale a little more than turtle-themed items, but if I happen to see a cute turtle fabric, it'll certainly appear in the shop one way or another! ;)

Kayla sent me two sets of cloth wipes, one to review and one to giveaway.  I actually was able to pick them both and loved them both.  They are beautiful!  But I ended up chosing the Green, Purple, and Turquoise Polka Dots to review of my own.

Like I said Kayla is a WAH Mom, and these cloth wipes are all prewashed in non-allergenic All detergent before sewing to reduce shrinkage. All wipes are serged with white thread for a pretty finish.

These wipes are pretty darn cute, because as soon as we got them Sister E said. "Mommy can I use these to wipe my face?  I like the dots!!"  Her dad and her have this thing with Dots and they call them Tickle Dots.  Which means he can tickle her.  HEHE.  Cute right.

Kayla doesn't just make wipes, but she also makes loveys and blankets, dresses and rompers and many other beautiful products. She has very reasonable prices and even make custom items.  You just contact her and she would be happy to assist you!  I always love knowing I can contact the person I am buying from if I want something more to my needs.

Show Me Your Stash Giveaway at Sharni's Blog

This is a different kind of Giveaway and I really like her giveaway!  Its so easy and there isn't much to do.

I had no idea how to store my Cloth Diapers and about a month ago I posted about this trying to figure it out. Everyone had different was of storing theirs.  For me having three kids and one of them being two who is into everything, I couldn't just leave them out or she would have them all over the house.  So, one day I had to return some stuff I had received from someone as a gift for the baby to Target, I looked around to find something that would work.

I found a three drawer organizer and at the time I didn't have many diapers so I was thinking this would work perfect. 

On top of the organizer is the wipe warmer that has solution in the water but it doesn't keep the water warm at all.  The thing you see hanging from the top was something I gotten from the doctors office when I found out I was pregnant that was from Similac.  I didn't think I would ever use it, but it has three pockets on it with a hook at the top. You can fold it up to close it or leave it open as I have above. It has all of the cloth wipes in it to use.

I have it right beside her pack and play which we normally only use now for changing her since it has a little changing area on it.

The nice thing about the organizer is that it has wheels on it so when we are wanting to move it somewhere else it is easily able to be transported.  It is getting full now as you can see. 

The top drawer only has extra inserts, prefolds in it with a few of the girls leg warmers in it with wipe solution in there.
The other two drawers have cloth diapers with the inserts already in them.  The bottom drawer does have a few of the larger size ones for Sister E.
